Saskia Kolff – van Es (Amsterdam, 1972) is an art historian. She writes about contemporary jewellery.
Her fascination: jewellery materials. The tension between their mythical and harmful sides are part of a piece of jewellery.

Saskia teaches jewellery history and theory at Sint Lucas Antwerp, in Belgium. She was a member of the board of the Françoise van den Bosch Foundation.
